Joint Operation leads to successful crackdown

Los Santos: On Thursday, January the 3rd 2019, The Los Santos Police Department's GSS and Los Santos County Sheriff's Department GET operatives executed a planned intelligence gathering operation within the 415 (106th and 107th avenue).

As part of a focused joint operation LSPD Gang Officers in conjunction with LSSD Deputies diligently targeted a known criminal street gang operating under the name of Rolling 20s Neighbourhood Bloods. The operation was proven to be effective and resulted in the successful detention and conviction of two known gang affiliates who were charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of an unlicensed firearm.

The Los Santos Police Department is thoroughly working around the clock to help
lower crime rate and bring safety to the people of Los Santos through our methods
of intelligence lead policing strategies and are focusing heavily on engaging with the
community to counter crime wherever it occurs.

Sergeant II Joseph Ortega, Officer in Charge of the Gang Support Section leading the operation had this statement to make:

At approximately 11:30 PM tonight, in conjunction with our colleagues from the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department, we conducted a stop and search operation on the Rolling 20s Neighbourhood Bloods. The purpose of this operation was to stop, search, and identify known gang members for further intelligence gathering. We documented twelve new gang members and seized two firearms and an unspecified amount of narcotics. The department takes great pride in the success of this operation, and this furthers our commitment to the war against gang-related crime.

Anyone who has any information relating to criminal operations within this vicinity is asked to come forward and contact the department on the Department’s non-emergency hotline at 991.
